HOW WE WORK

What sets our atelier apart

We explain before we act

A written assessment is shared with you before any work proceeds. You decide whether to continue — no pressure, no surprises.

Precise, patient diagnostics

Each watch is examined carefully under magnification. We take the time needed to understand the movement's condition fully before recommending a path forward.

Respectful handling

Your watch is handled with the same care we would give our own. Each piece is logged, padded, and stored securely during its time with us.

Tools matched to the work

From Swiss-made screwdrivers to ultrasonic cleaning baths and timing machines, our workshop is equipped for mechanical, quartz, and vintage movements alike.

Unhurried timelines

Especially for heritage pieces, we never rush. Timelines are agreed with you in advance and we stay in touch if anything changes along the way.

Charoen Krung, Bangkok

Our atelier is in the heart of Bang Rak, a neighbourhood with deep ties to craftsmanship and trade. Convenient for those visiting from across the city.

Is your watch due for attention?

Whether it stopped running, needs a battery, or carries years of family history — we are happy to take a look and let you know what it needs. No obligation to proceed.

QUESTIONS

Things people often ask

How do I know if my watch needs a service? +
Signs worth noting include the watch losing or gaining time noticeably, a crown that feels stiff or loose, a case that feels less water-resistant than before, or simply the fact that it has not been serviced in five years or more. For a quartz watch, a battery change every two to three years is a reasonable habit. If you are unsure, bring it in — we are happy to have a look and tell you honestly what we observe.
How long does a full movement service take? +
A full movement service typically takes two to three weeks for most modern mechanical watches. Vintage or complex movements may need longer, and we will let you know once we have assessed the piece. Heritage restorations are planned on a case-by-case basis, with timelines discussed and agreed with you before the work begins.
Do you provide a quote before starting work? +
Yes, always. We carry out an initial assessment and share a clear written summary of what we find and what is proposed, along with the cost. Nothing is started until you have reviewed the assessment and told us to go ahead. You are welcome to take the watch away and think it over — there is no charge for the initial review.
Can you source parts for older or discontinued watches? +
We work with a small network of trusted suppliers across Europe and Asia who specialise in period and new-old-stock components. For heritage restorations we take a sympathetic approach, using period-correct parts wherever possible. If a part cannot be sourced, we will tell you plainly and discuss the options with you.
What happens if I bring in a watch and decide not to proceed? +
There is no charge for the initial assessment and you are always free to collect the watch at that point. We understand that the cost or timing may not suit, and we never pressure anyone. Your watch is returned in the same condition it arrived.
Is it safe to leave a valuable or sentimental watch with you? +
Every watch left with us is logged by serial number, photographed, and stored in a padded, secured space. We treat each piece as if it were our own. You will receive a receipt and can contact us at any time to check on your watch's progress.
Do you service all watch brands? +
We work with most Swiss and Japanese movements, as well as a wide range of vintage calibres from various origins. If you have a brand-specific question, feel free to contact us beforehand and we can let you know whether we are the right fit before you make the trip.
